Will the person know I looked them up?
No. A reverse lookup reads records that are already published — it does not place a call, send a message, or notify anyone.
Why does a number sometimes show no owner?
Numbers routed through resellers and internet phone services often have no registrant on file. A blank owner is not a sign the call was safe — check the reports section instead.
What does the risk score actually measure?
Report volume, how recent those reports are, and how the line was issued. A brand-new internet line with 200 reports in a month scores high; a landline held since 2001 with none scores low.
How do I get my own number taken down?
Use Remove my number. Removal normally takes about 48 hours and the number stays out unless you add it back yourself.
